A converted garage room, 15ft by 7ft, skimmed across up to five walls and ceilings and left ready for painting.
What the customer needed
The customer had a garage room measuring 15ft by 7ft with a 2.4 metre ceiling that needed skimming. Rooms like this usually have a mix of surfaces that need bringing together into one smooth, even finish before they can be painted.
How the job was done
Floors were sheeted and the surfaces scraped, filled and primed so the plaster would take evenly. A first coat of multi-finish was applied and flattened, then a second thin coat trowelled to a smooth finish with the corners cut in cleanly.
The surfaces were given a final polish and the room swept, leaving the walls and ceiling ready for paint once dry.
